Woman Burns Son’s Face And Stabs Him In The Head For Stealing Soup

A 25 year old petty trader has been arrested by police in Ibeju Lekki for allegedly burning her 6 year old son's face for going into their neighbour's home and licking their soup.

Not only did Sakirat Attah burn her son's face with hot iron after the neighbour reported her son to her, she also used a broken bottle to stab young Daniel in the head. You can see the photo above. How you can do this to your own child is beyond me.

Sakirat took her son into their one room apartment after finding out what he did, locked the door, lit a stove, put an iron spoon on it to get hot and used it to burn his face and hands as punishment. And when that wasn't enough, she broke a bottle and stabbed him in the head, leaving a deep cut. Daniel later told police he stole the soup because he was hungry.

Neighbours who heard the little boy screaming for help entered the room and rescued him from the mother. They rushed him to the hospital and called the police on the mum.

Shakirat Attah has been charged before an Igbosere Magistrate's Court in Lagos on a one count charge of assaulting a minor occasioning bodily harm. She's currently in Kirikiri Prison, pending when she  fulfills her bail conditions.

It's a season of hair cutting! Every actor now shave hair for millions to play a certain role in a movie, mostly widow. BBA winner Uti Nwachukwu said he wouldn't mind cutting his trademark dreadlocks if he also get a cheque of millions of naira.

Speaking to NET in a recent interview, the actor, model, presenter and musician says he's not "just gonna take off my dreads for the regular pay check. The only reason I'll take off my dreadlocks is if I'm paid, am talking about millions because it took me three years and a lot of discipline, dedication, money to make my hair look this different and unique".

Mercy Johnson, Oge Okoye, Queen Nwokoye, Chika Ike, Ebube Nwagbo and many others have been paid millions in the past to shave their hair for a role in a movie, hopefully Uti will get his own million. But we'll like to see Ini Edo or Genevieve Nnaji bald too.

A Lebanese Man Arrested For Kidnapping His Aunt in Lagos

A 23 year old Lebanese man has been arrested by police in Lagos for kidnapping his 61 year old aunt, Alhaja Essa Dannawi. Mohammed Dannawi (pictured above) conspired with a former employee of his aunt, Obi Kwentua, (pictured above) to kidnap the woman on May 2nd at her home in Ebute Meta, Lagos.

Mohammed, who later confessed to the crime, told police during interrogation that he didn't kidnap his aunt because of money but to punish her because she offended him and his wife. He said:

According to a report from The Net, Dbanj has signed his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Oluwadamilare Okulaja better known to the public as Durella.

The move might however not come as a surprise to everyone, considering that Banger Lee (that’s D’banj’s new nickname by the way) and the ‘King of the Zanga’ Durella recently settled their differences. Some weeks back, D’banj and his DB Records crew released a single ‘Ibadi e‘ off their compilation album (D’ King’s Men) which featured a verse from Durella.

Man Beheaded in Broad Day Light in Woolwich, South London

A man, believed to be a serving soldier, was attacked and beheaded with a machete in broad day light this afternoon in Woolwich, South London by two men in what is suspected to be a terror attack.

The soldier was attacked with knives and meat cleavers following a car crash. Two black men in a blue Vauxhall car rammed into the soldier on John Wilson Street, then jumped out of their car and started attacking him with meat cleavers. An eye witness said the attackers were "chopping this guy to pieces, literally hacking at something like it was a piece of meat".

It is claimed that the men shouted 'Allahu Akbar', which means God is great in Arabic before attacking.  After the attack, the men then waited for about 20 minutes for police to show up and then tried to attack the officers. They were shot by police. One (or both) of them is believed to be alive.
